The Warrior Football Boosters Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization established in 1996, comprised of dedicated parents, guardians, and alumni who provide vital financial support to the Meridian High School football program. We generate funds through contributions, membership dues, concession sales, and our Warrior annual Warrior Dinner Auction.
Objectives: Support All Levels of Football. We aim to support MHS football teams at every level—including Varsity, JV, and Freshman!
Fundraising Initiatives: We raise funds through memberships, concession and apparel sales, sponsorships, and various fundraising activities.
Volunteer Commitment: Meridian High Athletics relies on Boosters volunteers for hosting home football games, which includes providing concessions, chain crew, and score clock operators. We also host many fundraising events that account for many volunteers.
Direct Revenue Generation: We generate revenue that directly supports the MHS Football program, funding crucial items like equipment upgrades, new helmets, film equipment, scholarships, travel expenses, facility maintenance, and so much more.
What We Purchase and Pay for in the Program:
- Equipment: Training Equipment: Tackling sleds, wheels, kicking cages, tees, pylons, and other training aids.
- Uniforms: New jerseys and pants every two years for the Varsity team (with prior uniforms passed down to JV and Freshmen).
- Coachings Salaries: Pay for all coaches salaries.
- Filming Equipment: Drones, iPads, and additional filming equipment for use during practices and games by coaching staff.
- Communication Tools: Headsets for the coaching staff.
- Events and Activities: Funding for events like the Welcome Back Ice Cream Social, Dairy Days entry fees, annual raffle items, Dinner Auction venue costs, catering services, silent auction basket items, end-of-season banquet catering, awards, and gifts for players and coaches.
- Promotions and Marketing: Production of Senior and Team Banners. Promoting the football program through marketing campaigns and fan engagement activities.
