  • What's the cost to play HS football?: The estimated cost to play is $1,200/player. Regist. Dues cover approx 30% of the total amount needed to fund the program. The rest is subsidized by mandatory fundraising by the Football Program.
  • Are there any fundraising requirements?: Yes, the Football Program organizes several fundraisers each year to subsidize costs, i.e. Raffle Ticket Sales, Banner Sales, Annual Dinner Auction, Sponsorship, etc.
  • What fees can I expect for MHS football?: Fees/Dues incl., but not limited to, $450 Regis. Dues; $75-$100 Spirit Pack practice wear, jersey, shirt, shorts, girdle, mouth guard etc; up to $175 leased helmet program, if elected.
  • Does the School District Cover Fees?: No. West Ada School District considers sports as extra-curricular activities, which means the cost to play is funded by player dues/fees and fundraising.
  • What is the Athletic Participation Fee?: In order for a student to participate in competitive athletics in West Ada School District, a fee is required. Collected fees are part of the district budget, used to assist in paying coaches’ salary.
  • How much is Athletic Participation Fee?: The fee is set by the District. The Fee was $110 per sport. This fee is NOT included in football dues. This fee is paid directly to the School/District during fall registration.
  • What is an Activity Card?: In addition to, and separate from, the Football Regist. Dues, in order to participate in any sport, any student-athlete is required to purchase an activity card during school registration in August.
  • How much is an Activity Card?: The cost for an Activity Card is set by the District. The cost was $44.50.
  • Do players need doctors physical's?: Yes, but only Freshman & Junior players need the physical form to be complete by a doctor, dated after 5/1/24 to be eligble.

The Meridian Warrior Football Program depends on volunteers to be successful..... Families are EXPECTED to volunteer at least once during the season. If you prefer not to, you are opting to pay $200 now in lieu of volunteering. If you intend to Volunteer and do not by the end of season a fee of $250 will be added to your players school account due to the football program.Available for the following Offerings: Meridian Warrior Football Team

All 3 teams (over 155 players) are fed each week before their games. Boosters purchase all items for players to be fed, including utensils, condiments and drinks.
